Inglis Veterinary Hospital is the only accredited veterinary hospital in Dunfermline and one of only eight in the whole of Scotland. From here we provide 24 hour hospital care in addition to routine appointments. Our visiting specialists provide expertise in key areas like cardiology, orthopaedics and skin care. Repeat Prescriptions

You can order prescriptions for your pet by completing the request below. Our policy at Inglis Vets is to re-assess a pet requiring a repeat prescription every three months, but this may vary with individual circumstances.

Our vets may prescribe relevant veterinary medicinal products only following a clinical assessment of a pet under his or her care. Information on the costs of any medicines or the repeat prescription consultation fee are available on request.

Please allow 48 hours for us to provide your prescription and 72 hours if ordering over a weekend or on a bank holiday. On rare occasion some types of drugs may take longer to order, so please ensure that you always order well in advance so that you don’t run out of medicine for your pet.

If You Don’t Have Pet Insurance

We always recommend pet insurance. However, insurance can be too expensive or unavailable depending on the age or breed of your pet. With Inglis Vets Care Plans you spread the cost of an unexpected bill with an unwell pet, with the bonus of discounts and interest free payments.
